While preparing for the Netherlands Architecture Study Abroad Trip, I researched current and projected flood control methods used in the Netherlands and around the world. My research revealed a largely unpublicized problem, and the causes, as well as what all is directly and indirectly threatened by it. Below are photos and sketches from my experiences on the trip.
